GERMAN EMBASSY, LONDON.
November 13th, 1900.
On board the Steamship "Princess Irene"
which recently left Bremen for Eastern Asia 54 cases
of Arms and Ammunition were shipped by Messrs. Kunst
and Albers of Hamburg and consigned to their branch-
house in Vladivostok.
As the consignment is addressed to the Im-
perial Consulate at Hong Kong, the German Government
raised no objection to the export of these goods.
The Consulate, to which the bill of Lading
was forwarded, has been instructed to re-ship the
goods to the Imperial Commercial Agent at Vladivos-
The German Agent has however been instructed
only to deliver these cases to the Firm entitled to
receive them if he is convinced, that any employment
